Definitions

These are what these words mean to me and how I will use them in my writings. I love words and definitions. I believe them to be fluid and powerful. Decided by the collective in a way so hard to pin down. I cannot prove these definitions. They are powerfully true to me. These definitions are not complete. I am adding to them to allow me to express with more colour.

Love

Love to me is infinite and has no opposite. It relates to hate in that love can be created out of hate. For example if before I knew no love I can create it out of hatred and contrast. I hate outsiders to fall in love with my friends and family. Hatred can always be dissolved through creativity. I use hatred of outsiders to protect myself to focus my finite energy on the ones close to me. So hatred is dissolved into loving protection and a tool for balance. In this way I see love as infinite.

Joy

As with love Joy is one of the only things which is infinite and has no opposite. It is the result of the holistic journey experienced when you hold the contrasts in your heart at the same time. When you see the undying beauty in the dance between restriction and freedom, peace and chaos, happiness and sadness, life and death. Joy is found in existence and it cannot be taken away. It is the wind in the trees, the breath in the lungs, the moon that shines on us all.

Ignorance

The act of ignoring reality. As a result of a lack of information or awareness. Or as a result of willful ignoring. It is for the user of ignorance to make it positive or negative.
